Our story

It all started with a simple idea: to make shipping and pickup as easy as possible for our customers. Inspired by the need for a convenient alternative to traditional delivery methods, our founders set out to create a solution that streamlines the process and provides unparalleled convenience.

Since then, Penguin Pickup has grown from a small startup to a leading player in the out-of-home delivery space. We've expanded our network of collection points, forged strategic partnerships with top couriers and continuously innovate to meet our customers’ evolving needs.

Founder/Owner

Mitch founded real estate firm SmartCentres in the early 1990s, developing more than 265 shopping centers. He also owns various developments across Canada through his private company, Penguin Investments, including Penguin Pickup.

Brad has held many senior leadership roles in his career, during which he has established and implemented many customer-focused strategies. Throughout his near-20-year tenure with Walmart, he developed an extensive understanding of operations and merchandising.

Jack has held senior management positions in a variety of industries including the finance and sports sectors, including previously heading the legal departments at retail and commercial companies, and later investment banks.

Beginning her career at PenguinPickUp in 2016, Anna has been involved in nearly all aspects of company’s growth and has held various roles including business development, program management and real estate management.
